‘Saptasindhu’ Mahila Adhar, Balsangopan And Shikshan Sanstha, founded in 1998 by ‘Padmashri’ Dr. Sou. Sindhutai Sapakal (Maai), echoes her commitment to the poor and underprivileged. In the last 25 years, the institution has reintegrated the downtrodden into mainstream society. Maai’s legacy lives on through its transformative impact.

In 1998, the first branch, ‘Sanmati Bal Niketan,’ was established in Hadapsar, Pune, followed by the ‘Gopika Gai Rakshan Kendra’ in Wardha in 2007. In October 2017, Maai founded the ‘Tirtharup Educational Residential Center,’ primarily for underprivileged children.

These three institutions, operating under ‘Saptasindhu,’ work as branches of ‘Saptasindhu’ Mahila Adhar, Balsangopan And Shikshan Sanstha. Maai’s daughter, Mamata Sindhutai Sapakal, now manages the responsibilities, continuing Maai’s vision.

Maai’s desire to stand up for orphans and abandoned women shaped the organization. The dedicated team reflects her values, commitment, and determination, contributing passionately to her cause. The organization’s leadership collaborates harmoniously, ensuring continuous development through collective decision-making.
